mka.jpgWhat has basically become a tradition at Mortal Kombat Online with each new Mortal Kombat game, Fight Night 2006 with the MK Team has concluded. Here are some of the highlights revealed about Mortal Kombat: Armageddon and the future of the franchise:

  • The fighting mechanics will be expanded for the Wii version.
  • Character specific fatality enders were planned, but later removed because they wanted all enders to be available to every character.
  • Only vault kontent is unlockable with the ? box.
  • There are no unlockable KAK parts.
  • It was possible for Motaro to have four legs, but there would've been too many gameplay complications.
  • MK8 will be taking a radically new direction in terms of gameplay.
  • Bios will eventually be released on Armageddon's official website.
  • Khameleon may be included in the Wii version.

While fight night was informative, I can't help but feel disappointed in what was not asked. For example, why is there no kontent section? Why was Moloch resized to a much smaller version but Onaga wasn't? Why are certain transitions in Kreate-A-Fatality unavailable to some characters? Why is the brain rip and heart rip not finishers in Kreate-A-Fatality?

Eh well, I guess unasked questions is what we've come to expect from Fight Night.
