You knew it was going to happen. NetherRealm Studios has officially announced a "komplete" edition called Mortal Kombat XL that will feature all previous and upcoming DLC - characters, skins, fatalities, etc.Pay close attention when watching the video. You will see many new upcoming skins for several characters, including ninja cosplay skins for Cassie Cage and Jacqui Briggs.

I have a feeling they're being a bit misleading with that. Yes, all four characters are included for free with XL, but I'm going to assume that means they're free when they become available.
We already know Triborg is going to be released first. There's no way in hell all four characters are going to be released before XL comes out in March.

As much as I'd like to say that Kombat Pack 3 was real and coming, it sadly isn't.
That is a pretty good mod to MKXL, wish it was true.

Yeah, obviously fake, but there were some nice MKX mods in there.
I still don't understand why NRS never made the story mode characters available. It's pretty obvious they were completed characters.
