mkx_jason.jpgModders have figured out a way to remove Jason's iconic hockey mask in the PC version of Mortal Kombat X, but the face underneath is probably not what you were expecting...

While NetherRealm Studios did take the time to render a face under the mask, they simply gave him a generic male face. No grotesque deformities like in the Friday the 13th movies. It's a little disappointing, but his face technically was never meant to be seen.

Could also be a reference to Friday The 13th Part VI:Jason Lives! novelization and rought draft. In the novel at least there was departure in his backstory and appearance where he wasn't deformed (until his faced got butchered in part IV) or retarded like the original draft for the first film, but an unnervingly quiet child who gave off an aura that seemed evil.

Also one of the unused scripts for Freddy vs Jason had him with a normal shaped head & face just scarred.
Guess Jason not using mask as weapon or maybe a Fatality that generic was used but like to have seen the movie face.
Chances are his face wasn't really meant to be seen.
That's why so it looks so generic.
Kabal fatality where his face messed up was kool nrs probably just didnt want to even mess with, has anyone asked nrs?
