He was pretty big in part 7, 8, 9, and 10. Kane Hodder, the actor who played Jason in those movies, is a pretty big dude. I met him a couple of years ago at a con.
And he was also really big in the 2009 reboot.

Oh come on. You don't think Jason is one of the most badass guest characters you could have in an MK game? He's a killing machine. It's a perfect fit.

Fan or not, it is very intriguing to see one horror icon that haunted millions being a part of MK. Personally i like him a lot and i am very curious to see him and his story.
