mk10_whos_next.jpgEarlier today, a photo of what appears to be promotional posters for the next Mortal Kombat game was posted on Reddit, then deleted a little while later. Many were suspicious of the legitimacy of the image. However, Ed Boon and the official Mortal Kombat Facebook page have updated their profiles with the dragon logo and tag line "who's next" seen in the posters.

These posters were supposedly leaked by GameStop employees. It's probably safe to assume today's leak, paired with Boon's current Twitter countdown, definitely indicate that an official announcement from Warners Bros. at this year's E3 convention is a guarantee.

I don’t even care if it's fake.
The rush of hype I just got is beautiful Mokap - Laugh
Ed is usually good at responding to stuff like this I've sent it to him multiple times and so have others. Based off his behavior patterns if he is ignoring them to not shed light on them I believe that it is real. Also with the alleged reveal of MK next Monday it could go up for pre order at that time and that could be a pre order bonus or perhaps a give away at E3
Looks totally fake. The dragon logo and text are way too crooked judging by the side of the poster on the right.
Thats what I thought at first but the poster is not laying flat and that could bea result of that.

With the bottom-right corner curling up the way it is, the text should be slanted the other way. Unless they literally made the text and logo that oddly crooked on purpose, I say it's fake.
This is what is currently being said.

According to @subzerosmokerai on Twitter the posters were shipped to a GameStop and they were labeled with the word "Malcolm". The comment on Reddit with this information was since deleted that allegedly contained this information. A reference to Malcolm X where X = 10 in roman numerals maybe?
THE OFFICIAL MORTAL KOMBAT FACEBOOK PAGE CHANGED THEIR PROFILE PICTURE AND BANNER TO THESE THEY ARE THE SAME FROM THE POSTER YYYYYYYYYEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Game Informer says are real

The dragon could be a placeholder but it looks real. And it only makes me wonder what does "Who's Next?" means. Could mean anything; fatalities could be a lot more gruesome (i.e. who's next to die). Online play could be bigger. Gameplay has changed. Or it could just mean who's next to take over Earthrealm (i.e. who's the next villain).
I'm excited for MKX.
I am on a dream state right now so i will rephrase this famous song... from ''wake me up when September ends'' to ''wake me up when Sunday ends''... Mokap - Laugh Mokap - Laugh
