mksm.jpgYesterday, Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon tweeted an image of a Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks strategy guide that someone "supposedly" placed on his desk. Along with the image, he also posted a rather peculiar message:

On the surface, this looks like a clear hint that maybe Shaolin Monks will be getting an HD digital re-release. However, Boon is also known for trolling his followers quite regularly on Twitter.

Once again he is trolling with us... Quan Chi - Bang Head I wonder if he thinks it's funny anymore...
Want it. Could that something mean Shaolin Monks 2?
The someone was Dark Boone; Ed Boon's subconscious prankster yet sometimes truthful self....I bet....
HD or new game with playable Raiden, please.
Probably woundn't buy it.
Don't get me wrong, I'm practiculary in love with this game, but I've beated it so many times that I can't play it anymore.
Wish they would go ahead and say they are doing a sequel. Being it has been a while since Shaolin Monks release do not know if HD version would be good decision to release but like to get it though.
They're not making it Boon said in interview weeks ago on giantbomb believe it was.

I figured he was trolling. Kintaro
Obviously he is trolling again... he should change his name to Ed Troll... Mokap - Laugh
A HD release would have a lot of demand and gain them fine profits but it may not be in sight any time soon.
