In anticipation for the upcoming Gamescon convention in Germany, NetherRealm Studios has decided to treat us early and reveal the next character on the Injustice: Gods Among Us roster - Catwoman!And to re-assure fans that Injustice won't just be a plethora of Batman characters, Ed Boon has this to say via Twitter:

People really need to calm down lol I understand that you don't want a ton of Batman's allies and villains in this game but trust me on this, Injustice will have other heroes and villains outside of Batman's family, characters like Aquaman, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter, Shazam/Captain Marvel, Green Arrow, Lex Luthor, Deathstroke, Gorilla Grodd, Black Manta, Sinestro, Cheetah and Captain Cold.
But I'm pretty sure we might get some more Bat-Villains like The Joker, Bane, Killer Croc, Poison Ivy or The Scarecrow

Yay for Catwoman. Don't really care for the costume, I really miss how she used dress in Year One or during the 90s...the only really good thing her modern costume does is show off her cleveage....I hope Bane and maybe Ivy make the cut....also 0:57, lovers quarrel or domestic violence? And I hope Batman's first words after a fight with her are, "Quiet or Papa spank."

I agree. I think the Team is getting carried away with having all the characters with all this excessive armor. I hope everyone gets classic costumes.

In that case I'm hoping Hush or Year One for Batman...and if the Red Hood appears in the game, he could be wearing a bloodied and tattered Robin costume as an alternate....
