It could be worse....they could not be supporting the game at all and just Charge us 45 bucks for an updated version several months down the line....who would be that greedy though really (COUGH)CAPCOM(COUGH) whew excuse me.

WB is just trying to broaden their audience. They probably figure if they can pull in horror fans as well, then why not?

I love how the MK Community from what I've seen is completely POLARIZED on this addition, yet everyone I know in real life is getting him anyway. It's even funnier that people claim that NetherRealm is the worst developer in the history of games, when other companies like Capcom and Namco are even more willing to put in guests that don't fit in the slightest (Remember the Apprentice in Soul Calibur or Cole being in Street Fighter X Tekken?) I think this should be the first FORCED Compatibility Pack, it really needs to be at this point, it should just kick you off Ranked if you don't have all 4 at this point, I'm tired of leaving because people refuse to let me play as Kenshi or Rain.

Damn I was right when I said it would be a Guest Character , I was thinking it was Jason but it's Freddy, I guess we'll be seeing Jason for Halloween DLC then. I was really hoping that it would have been Havik or Reiko but we can't change it now. Hopefully we get Unmasked Sub-Zero and Cyber-Smoke for Klassic Costumes I could really see Cyber-Smoke being a Klassic Costume and he could play like a cyborg because Sektor and Cyrax's human moves are different from their cyborg moves.

I'm kind of mixed and if they're going this route, Jason would've made more sense. In terms of hand-to-hand combat, Freddy usually sucks in the real world....So should I expected Mr. Voorhees to drop in? I mean they're going to put Freddy in they should have Jason as well....Though I was hopping for a MK character... And I agree with you Kaputski.

I was just telling my friend that NRS should have a fatality-enabled Dream Kombat when you play as Freddy, that would be pretty cool if that happened and also I seem to be the only person that's okay with Freddy being in the game

I just read past comments about this whole Freddy Kruger DLC and I must say that I am really excited about it. To me, it fits. And I've been reading all of these comments about how its a bad idea and "oh, I refuse to buy this". That's cool and all, but let's not forget that there are MK fans who are actually excited about this and that there are dipshits out there who jump at the chance to bitch about things. If you're not going to buy it, don't buy it. Let the rest of us enjoy what NRS has to over. News flash! To those who are complaining about NRS's decisions, guess what: they're fucking rich and you're dirt poor and have nothing better to do that to complain because either you didn't think of it first, or you're some ass clown who was born to bitch at every little thing. Kudos to NRS for their latest DLC. And quite frankly, I am ashamed and embarrassed for a lot of these "people" on this forum. I know that people are entitled to their opinions, but for those of us who love what NRS has been doing, shut the fuck up and let us enjoy it. This is why I haven't been posting on this forum. As i said before in the previous topic,he is welcome by me.If his story is like he's a wraith from the Netherrealm helping Quan Chi,then he can surely fit to the game.in time,every question we MK fans have,will be answered.My opinion is,jugding by the trailer,that he has as good potential.I would still say the same things if Jason was released instead of him.
