Gametrailers.com was able sit down with Mortal Kombat series co-creator and creative director Ed Boon for an interview during this year's E3 convention. A majority of the interview deals with NetherRealm Studios' DLC plans for Mortal Kombat (2011), but there were also a few other interesting bits of info revealed.Here are some hightlights Ed shares in the interview:
- Skarlet was created from blood and feeds on it
- She will be released in the next few weeks though no date has been set
- Kenshi koming next
- At least four DLC characters planned
- MK Team plans to release DLC througout the summer
- Other big DLC surprises koming
- Mortal Kombat would be great on the PS Vita
- Probably haven't seen the last of characters who died in Mortal Kombat (2011)
- NetherRealm Studios plans to expand into other genres in the future
