Looks like those of us getting the PS3 version of Mortal Kombat (2011) get to finish people off jamming to our own soundtrack!!

One of the best features that the PlayStation 3 offers is custom soundtrack support. NetherRealm Studios has announced that Mortal Kombat will be taking advantage of this feature in the game. The demo for Mortal Kombat released a few days ago for PlayStation Plus subscribers, and you can check out the new feature in the demo as well. So whether you enjoy the soothing sounds of the developer included music, or you are more into your own brand of tunage, you'll be able to pull vicious fatalities to the music of your choosing.

Xbox has that feature anyway. Simply transfer songs onto the Xbox's Music Library, make a playlist, and use your controller to play it once you've started to play. I do it all the time with Super Street Fighter IV, it's by no means exclusive.

im glad they have it for the PS3 version because know I can kick ass while listing to Disturbed, Metallica, and etc. dam this game is getting better and better!
