Kevin Tancharoen, the director of the upcoming Mortal Kombat: Rebirth web series, has just posted a photo of Baraka via Twitter. While not outright saying it is indeed Baraka, when another Twitter member tweeted with "Tarkatan?", Tancharoen replied "you win."
It appears that this version of Baraka is quite different than the version we saw in the proof-of-concept trailer last year.

What the hell? If that's Baraka, that looks totally different than the Baraka we saw in the proof-of-concept trailer. I have a feeling WB may have intervened quite a bit for this web series.

Yeah I'm pretty confused now by all this shit. I like the one with piercings and dreadlocks better. Why the fuck does Baraka have fur in this pic?
