Liu Kang's x-ray move looks like a mix between the old school upper cuts and sweet chin music. Ermac looks sweet. What puzzles me is that there have been no gameplay of Raiden, Shao Kahn or Shang Tsung, especially Raiden.

A new video posted by IGN has revealed x-ray attacks for Liu Kang, Goro, and Ermac, as well as Stryker getting an x-ray attack performed against him. Also revealed is Baraka, well just his head, via koncept art shown in the video detailing the various custom skulls NetherRealm Studios needed to create.

I'm guessing that the EVO announcement must of made them decide to release all this greatest. I had many nerdgasms watching this video I'm glad to see Liu Kang, Baraka, Goro and Stryker.

First off this Mortal Kombat makes it to EVO for the first time EVER plus with the overall excitement and acceptance from the fighting game community. Stryker's model is a nod to MK3 costume also Goro looks to be a very intimidating sub-boss. I'm glad to say that MK is back baby .

Also I'm guessing Goro is going to be playable now and not a boss?

Sweet! Finally some character updates. Kitana's X-Ray looks more like a fatality. Liu Kang looks like "Nightwolf's brother". Stryker looks like a sexy gay cop. Baraka looks scary as usual. And Jade looks awesome even when she is beaten up.

Finally Liu Kang!!! Stryker and Baraka's confirmations are neat also.

I wonder if each character will have multiple x-ray attacks? If each character only has ONE x-ray move that they do over and over won't it get a little boring in a while?

It should be available for purchase. It's the February 2011 issue featuring Skyrim.
