Today, NetherRealm Studios sent FDMK the press release for the Mileena video released, yesterday. In the release, Warner Bros. officially announces April 19th, 2011 as the release date for Mortal Kombat (2011).As you may remember, FDMK was the first to report April 19th, 2011 as the official release date back in October of last year. However, much to my dismay, many in the Mortal Kombat kommunity dismissed my claim as false or just a placeholder date. Although I told most to "SUCK IT" a few weeks ago on Twitter when April 19th was listed on Target pre-order cards, I think I'll take the high-road this time and just enjoy knowing FDMK's initial claim was correct all along.
Ah, the hell with it!

I knew something wasn't right about that date. They swore it came out that date. Sometimes I like to test the GameStop employees to see how knowledgeable they really are, but they fail 90% of the time.

For the majority of the time websites put up a false release date. If they knew the game came out in April they'd probably choose April 1st because it seems the most logical.
Hell the people that preordered at amazon got emails saying the game comes out February 2nd.
The only release date that should ever matter to you is the one coming directly from the game developers. Until they release an official date its all just speculation

if it is comeing out on april 19th then gamestop best buy hellmart are worng or b Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios are pulling are legs and it does come out on april 1st

If you would have taken the time to read all the posts in here you'd know that those date aren't "OFFICIAL". The only date that should matter to anyone is the one that comes straight from the developers. April 19th was confirmed by NRS. The other sites are lazy and haven't updated to the new date yet.

As long as it doesn't follow into the foot steps of Gears of War 3 where it got pushed back. THAT would be a pure form of torture.

I highly doubt they would, seeing as how this game looks close to complete. I just can't wait til it comes out. April 19th isn't that far away.
