Ex-Midway designer Vincent Proce has revealed some amazing character designs he created before leaving the company last year. I think fans would've loved to have seen the last installment go this route instead of the DC crossover we were given instead.
"Here are the never before seen Mortal Kombat characters I designed for a Mortal Kombat pitch I made before I left Midway last year. The basis for the idea was a re imagining of the Mortal Kombat franchise from the original premise but mixing modern muti-player and dismemberment game design with the original fighting mechanic."
I can only hope and pray that these designs, or something similar, are going to be used for MK9!

I can only hope and pray that these designs, or something similar, are going to be used for MK9!
