As most of you probably know by now, Mortal Kombat series co-creator Ed Boon has made popular social-networking website Twitter his new way to communicate with fans. While most of his postings have nothing to do with Mortal Kombat, yesterday, he did post a number of messages that suggest MK9 is indeed returning to its mature-rated, gory, violent roots.Motion capturing special moves & fatalities today....they are kind of sick !!
Carlos & Rick O. doin some kool fatalities. I hope we aren't taking these too far. :(
People want an M-rated MK....dammit we will give them an M-rated MK.
still...they are sick. :\
I don't know about you, but my excitement about the future of the Mortal Kombat series, which was greatly diminished after Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe, has now been officially restored!

If another company buys Midway's Chicago studio and the MK franchise, it doesn't mean that work on the game ends.

Am I supposed to be happy about this?
One, that game still have a 50/50 chance of sucking in my pessimistic mind.
