Now this may come as a huge shock to most of you (*sarcasm), but it seems like the possibility of downloadable content for Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe has all but come and gone. Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon regularly posts on the popular social-networking site Twitter, and he responded to another user's question in a way that suggests that DLC is probably not going to happen, and that the best time to have done so has already past.@noobde Is DLC for MK vs DCU not happening now? Both of those characters would have been bought ASAP by me, I can guarantee.
Ed Boon: @bawkz I wouldn't hold my breath. The game has been out for a long time. Best time 2 have released them would have been months ago. :(
Now this isn't an official statement, but with MK9 already in development, this seems like confirmation to me.
I guess Midway doesn't need the money...

It was with my hand. I was interviewing him for some odd reason at the Midway station. As I was saying goodbye, i slapped him across the face, infront of a camera. It was beautiful dream.
