Gametrailers has posted a new video featuring their top 10 fighting game franchises. Oddly, Mortal Kombat takes the number nine slot. Personally, I don't agree with its position on the list, far behind such franchises as Samurai Showdown and Guilty Gear. Regardless, the video is worth a watch.Here is the list in order from one to ten:

5. Capcom's Versus

I thought they did a top 10 fighting games already?
At least the former glory of Mortal Kombat still continues after so many years. Not surprise about Street Fighter lol.

A true to its name top 5 fighting games:
1. Mortal Kombat
2.Soul Calibur
3.Street Fighter
4.DOA
5.KOF
All of those others are pansy, wana be games of Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, and Soul Calibur. (KOF is somewhat original, but ultimately a Street Fighter parody and DOA is somewhat original)

3.-Super Smash Bros. (Does that counts?)
4.-Killer Instinct
5.-Capcom fighting spin-offs
All other fighting games can burn in hell! (Unless I forgetting some good game at the time of writing)

9th?! That's IT?! Ugh! I'd imagine somewhere in the top five, but NINTH!? Psh. That's bullshit.
