On February 26th, Ed Boon posted a message on his Twitter account that stated "Reptile wins....in a while", along with a picture of baby crocodiles hatching from their eggs. Almost immediately, Mortal Kombat forums became flooded with topics that Reptile is going to a be downloadable character in Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe.Well, sorry to say Reptile fans, but Ed has posted another message today, and he apologizes for any confusion he may have caused.
"Apologies to anyone who thought my Reptile reference was hinting at upcoming DLC. For what its worth, he?s not. Sorry about the confusion."
I don't know about you, but I find teases like this extremely annoying. Both Midway and the MK Team should know by now that MK fans are getting very anxious due to the current lack of DLC news.

Sometimes I just don't know what Ed is thinking. He has a very odd sense of humor, like the Scorpion vs. Ken image on noob.com. However, this was just plain wrong. What did he assume we were all going to think?

Guys, we should just give up on DLC, I mean cmon, they barely got this game released, let alone put in an add on, and yeah, they're really dicking with the fanbase by saying the most requested character for DLC and one of the characters requested most for MKvsDC at the start won't make an appearance at all. But this raises a possibility, is Midway racist against Zaterrans?

I too feel that with everyday that passes without word about DLC, the chances of it happening get a little bit smaller. I really wanted Lobo too dammit!

Be nice if Rorschach, Bane, Sareena, or Quan Chi became DLC.It would, but Rorschach would be impossible since Alan Moore's works are off-limits for MKvsDCU. But Rorschach would've be a good idea . . . I'd hope for Nightwing, Mileena, Lobo and Goro.

Can honestly say I did expect something like that to come from Ed Boon, him being the so called "genius" that he is, Reptile should've been in there in the first place, him and Kung Lao, the fans like them more and Midway disappointed us again in this game, for one the fatalities are mild and there's barely any kind of blood being spilled compared to MK:A, but all in all Reptile should be in the game, he's a very popular fan favorite and a favorite in my book

Yeah Reptile should of made it, atleast this increases the chance of Kung Lao getting it....also Mileena eww. DC for me doesn't matter, not because I don't care but because I seriously lack knowledge of most of their characters.
