KOMMENTS
I have to admit it: if these are the actual kombat arenas seen in the game, then I am impressed. The details and the use of colors are just impressive.

Let's just hope that the danger of falling off from the edge of the arena will be added, despite the lesser amount of fatalities.

Ring outs in Soul Calibur were sometimes fatal, this could be too I guess.

Yeah, but I bet it will be lame if there are ring outs. We'll probably just see the character fall and eventually disappear into the darkness.
I like the background. But really confuse what can really happen. I doubt it be ring out. Its nice looking background. But trying to imagine how its going to be like when you are playing. Its going to resembles a lot more like MKA fighting sage. Big circle and minimum details.

I'm actually kind of disappointed in how the MK team is utilizing, or should I say not utilizing, the Unreal 3 engine. It's such a powerful engine, yet all were going to get is simple fighting arenas that look pretty. I was expecting the fighting stages would be these huge open areas that could be explored as the kombatants battled, but no.

When will the disappointment end?
When you're seizuring in a hospital bed and have given up all hope in humanity.
Pity. I hope the Batcave can at least get multilevels... Or that people can bust down the roof like in MK3. But still it will take more to impress me.
I'm starting to lose faith in Midway...
I like that they are having not one but two Batman stages because I think that Batman is the best DC charc. out there. I like these bg's they show me good things for the future updates for MKvsDC

Batman seems to be getting some special treatment for this game.
Well there is a Batman movie coming out. So they can could be using the movie as a promo or something. I wouldn't be surprise.
Shouldn't I have gotten some MKarma for submitting this into the News Submissions forum?

Any new multimedia stuff gets sent to me from Midway. I posted this news update only about 15 minutes after you submitted it. At that time I was probably in the process of uploading the images and writing this news update. I knew about the images hours earlier, I just didn't have time to post the news update until later in the evening because I was at Taekwondo.

I've given you +3 for the effort, but next time, don't expect anything if the time of your submission is so close to the time of the actual news posting. Chances are, I've already received the stuff from Midway long before you make a submission about it, anyways.

Your best bet for obtaining karma for news submissions would be for things like interviews or gameplay videos posted on video game websites like IGN or Gamestop. Midway generally doesn't inform us(MK site owners) about stuff like that. Multimedia stuff is usually emailed to us before or at about the same time they put it on their websites, so we're typcially the first ones to know about it.

Gotcha. Kai - Thumbs Up Thanks for giving me MKarma anyway.

Well, I kinda do like the "Fall-and-disappear" effect, as it gives that feeling of something we are unsure about, just like in the Nexus stage.

But then I hope that there will be same result like in the MK2: Fall out, Slam 'n' Die, leave a bloodstain (no flying bodyparts).
