gamefunk.jpgVideogame website Gamefunk has posted an article on their blog listing the top ten games that would make a better Mortal Kombat crossover than the DC Universe. Some of the games listed, such as Killer Instinct, Eternal Champions, Thrill Kill, etc., would definitely make for an excellent crossover gorefest, while a few of the others, eh, not so much.

Here are the games listed in the article:
10. Street Fighter: The Movie Game
9. Guilty Gear XX
8. Teah Free Realm
7. Samurai Showdown IV
6. Time Killers
5. Thrill Kill
4. Tao Feng
3. Street Fighter II
2. Killer Instinct
1. Eternal Champions

EA then decided to cancel the release of Thrill Kill deeming it too violent. Get your facts straight. You?re a gaming website

What you said = Ownage XD

Well I heard a few of these games being named for a better MK vs DC games. And I say there's no point. Its Mortal Kombat. So its likely to fail.
I'm cool with a final intro w/ Thrill Kill, but I'm anti/mindless gorefests.

Guilty Gear wouldn't be bad, either.
Eternal Champions would go well as their fatal ends are quite cruel looking. Though, I am not sure if "normal" people from different times would be matching against people of MK.

But mostly best possible choices what I think would go with MK crossover, are Guilty Gear, Street Fighter and Killer Instinct. For Thrill Kill I'm not quite sure, for I haven't heard much about that game....

For Thrill Kill I'm not quite sure, for I haven't heard much about that game....Thrill Kill technically never released.
It was slated to be PSX exclusive, but EA (the publishers by extension through Virgin Interactive.) had to pull out due to pansyhood. That's right, EA, I call you PANSIES!
Still, the game involves denizens of hell killing each other in 4-way battles in modern domains of hell.
However, all TK was was a mindless gorefest. Not ideal crossover material.
Mine are
10.Virtua Fighter
9.Dead or Alive
8.Dragon Ball Z(I don't even like it, it'd just be better)
7.Naruto(once again, don't like it)
6.Street Fighter 3
5.Marvel series
4.Thrill Kill
3.Killer Instinct
2.Tekken series
1.Street Fighter 2 series

i would prefer a mortal kombat vs fist of the north star. now that crossover wouldn't have to be toned down.

I thought that Virgin Interactive(?) published the game for PSX/PSOne? (had to view some videos on YouTube to see them: that looks quite good to be an old game)

No. Electronic Arts bought Virgin Interactive, thus acquiring the rights to its game library. EA then canceled Thrill Kill two weeks before release.

I have a copy of the NTSC full uncensored version, as well as the NTSC beta.
MK vs. SF
MK vs. Soul Cabilur
MK vs. DOA
MK vs. Image Universe
MK vs. Tattoo Assassins
MK vs. DC
MK X SF is what I hope to see
