ultimatemk.jpgIGN has posted another hands-on review of the upcoming Ultimate Mortal Kombat for the Nintendo DS, along with a plethora of new screenshots and videos. Some of the new features revealed in the article are that the player can now determine which screen displays the action, while the other screen displays a "cheatsheet" listing the selected kombatant's special and finishing moves. Puzzle Kombat can also be switched between screens, as well.

As for online play, the game will also keep track of all your wins, losses, successful fatalities, animalities, babalities, and friendships.

Ultimate Mortal Kombat is due to be released sometime this November.

UMK looks like it's shaping up reallly nicely. I'm especially loving the "cheatsheet" smart yet simple. I've been meaning to get a DS, this could be one of the first games I purchase for it.
My DS has been repaired and will return to my lovely hands soon. I am most likely going to buy this game. I love the cheatlist thou. But it looks like there's not going to be a Run button anymore? I never gotten to use the Run button that much thou. But I do remember they're used for some fatalities.

I actually want to buy this game...it would be so much fun. I know...Mortal Kombat and Fun used in the same sentences....been a while XD
