Mortal Kombat X
In Mortal Kombat: Special Forces, Tremor was a former Lin Kuei member who now worked for the Black Dragon crime organization. He escaped from Special Forces custody during a prison break orchestrated by Kano. He is a sub-boss in the game, guarding a portal to Outworld.
Tremor is able to create small earthquakes by punching the ground, much like Jax but more devastating. He also has the ability to fire a three-directional fireball.
Tremor was originally planned to make an appearance in Mortal Kombat Trilogy, but was replaced by Rain, instead. He can still be seen in the game's instruction manual.
In the Playstation Vita version of Mortal Kombat (2011), Tremor makes a playable cameo appearance in the bonus challenge tower.
In 2015's Mortal Kombat X, Tremor is part of the game's DLC Kombat Pack and is a fully downloadable, playable character in all modes of the game.
Tremor has the powers of an Earth elemental: He can create earthquakes, form stone and lava projectiles and shape the ground to suit him. His current status with Kano's Black Dragon clan of arms dealers is unknown, as a recent mission seems to have created much animosity in Tremor toward both Special Forces and Kano.
Standing over Shinnok, Tremor reveled in his power. Much had changed since the Black Dragon's excursion to the Dream Realm. Kano had sent Tremor's team there to retrieve a "psych-bomb," to be used in Kano's theft of Shinnok's Amulet. Exposure to that realm had increased Tremor's power--and expanded his mind. He would evolve into an Earth elemental: a demi-god whose power would rival that of Raiden and Fujin.
