A site of kombat between Earth's warriors and Shao Kahn's forces during his invasion of Earthrealm. Those who were unfortunate enough to be knocked through the floor fell onto a bed of spikes at the bottom.

The Belltower arena received a very radical redesign for it's inclusion in Mortal Kombat: Armageddon. There was now two floors, and a large bell in the center that kombatants could be knocked into and fall to the lower level.

On the lower level, kombatants could be knocked into the various bells and gongs. The spike stage fatality from Mortal Kombat 3 was also included, as well. However, the spikes now had blades on them that would slice off a kombatant's arms and legs as they slid down impaled.
