The Tarkatan race is a mutated hybrid, comprised of Outworld and Netherrealm species, and inhabit the Wastelands of Outworld.

They are an aggressive species, which is apparent by their razor-like teeth and sharp blades they can expand and contract from their forearms.

Significant Characters: Baraka, Mileena

Note: Mileena is not a true tarkatan. She was created by Shang Tsung to be a clone of Kitana. It is believed Shang Tsung used tarkatan essence when creating her, which is why she possesses tarkatan facial features.
