One of two dragons designated to awaken Taven & Daegon in the konquest mode of Mortal Kombat: Armageddon. Orin was assigned to Taven.

During Taven's quest, Quan Chi managed to find Orin's cavern and attacked him. His intentions were to weaken the dragon enough so he could no longer create portals for Taven. However, Orin had just enough strength left to keep Quan Chi's portal to Outworld open long enough to allow Taven to pursue the sorceror.
