Mortal Kombat II
A finishing move that allowed a player to transform his or her opponent into their infant counterpart.
It was first introduced in
Mortal Kombat II as a humorous response to the negative publicity the first game received due to its violent content - blood, fatalities, etc. Babalities were also included in
Mortal Kombat 3,
Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, and
Mortal Kombat Trilogy.
Babalities made a return after a long hiatus in the highly successful series reboot
Mortal Kombat, released in 2011.
