This was a feature given to Cyrax when he was automated by the Lin Kuei. A panel on his forearm allowed him to execute the command, and after a few seconds, he would explode. However, Cyrax was able to re-assemble himself afterwards. He would eventually perfect this ability, and use it to teleport himself during battle, exploding and quickly re-assembling behind his opponent. Occasionally, he would activate his full destruct command to cause a much larger explosion, resulting in his opponents being blown apart, as well.
