The Nethership first appeared in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance. However, in Mortal Kombat: Deception, kombat now takes below deck, in the interior of the ship. Inside the hull, hanging corpses swing from ropes. Kombatants can use these corpses as shields or knock them into their opponent.
